Ode To Thy Sleeping Spirit

I.

Thread thee memories of golden days;
Our stars hanging in the beautiful light
Drift to my aching heart; please with me, stay
Forever with me in our wing'ed flight.
Cradle thy hope in the love of our heart.
Take flight from the swooning cup of thy love
With Heavens gates calling us ever-near.
"Aye!Aye! Never apart!"
Angels sing us lullaby's from above,
I hear the chimes of adoration, dear.

II.

Love blessed me to remember the dreams
And the memories we have kept so dear.
I hear! I hear your soft growing screams,
Turning round to see they face closely near.
Thy hands, they tremble with a sweet unrest,
Searching for mine in an endless darkened sea.
Come to my bed and kiss my wanting lips--
I need thy caress.
The angels, they love us more than we see
So please, please descend thy lips onto me.

III.

Lay not thy cheek upon the flowers of death.
Melt away the dreary light of dying songs
To bring forth the love of Winters last breath.
She will protect us against all the wrong.
Take my hand and we will walk to shore,
Waning into Winters eternal sun.
Is it that your arms feel much warmer here?
Am I lightheaded more?
Thy being is the cause for my blood to boil,
Rather boil in the presence of you near.

IV.

Ask yourself, my love to whether we live
For things of beauty or for our ills.
I think it not our ills, but what we give--
The very beauty of love is set to kill!
Nay, the sultry love in your ebony eyes,
Burns the aching heart of me from within,
To ashes upon the heath and snow.
I hear thy sweet sighs,
Echoing in the distance of our sins,
But our sins are false; of that they should know.

V.

I envy though, the ones who are in your presence
What lucky people! What lucky dames!
What lucky spirits of omnipresence!
What star-struck muses of unknown names!
Muses freeze at the point of no return,
They mute their voices at the sight of you!
"What a handsome face; what a perfect choice!"
The muses, they turn
And whisper their wonderment; bidding adieu
To leave me evermore with thy stunning voice.

VI.

Hearken to the dreams of our existence;
Together in the remains of the day,
We shall spread the map of our persistence
To keep the angels round' our love at bay.
They keep our love suspended in the air;
For our eyes to see as we sway in slumber,
Waiting for the arms of sleep to hold our souls--
I'll kiss thee, unaware
And never feel thy love encumber
When thy being is held in my arms control.

VII.

Softly hung aloft the beautiful night,
The faery's appear over our bedded bliss.
Too pale underneath the moons glowing light
To take part in our love such as this.
You faery's can't deny my love so divine!
He--he is mine forever and today,
Though forever he is my one and only.
My loves intertwined,
Around my shoulders forever to lay
My cheek on thy knee, never to grow lonely.

VIII.

Thy spirit, thy gentle spirit floats to me
Upon the wings of golden streams.
Oh great wind! Please open his eyes to see;
My magical love as he gently dreams.
They see! The faery's, the angels have seen!
They know my love for you, my darling one.
Take my hand, walk with me to Winters shore.
Listen to our dreams!
Their singing our lullaby's to the sun;
Wiping their tears while we ascend evermore.

HELP PLEASE!

Hello all! I'm finally back on here for what seems forever, but I can't believe I've been on here for over 2 years now! o_O Where has the time gone? Anyhow, I've been meaning to ask a question to all of you artists and photographers out there. I am so thrilled to be able to say that I am finally going to publish a book of poetry! =] This has been a dream of mine since I was a young girl at the age of 10. I never thought, 11 years later, I would be making my dream come true! :O I will also be publishing my novels in the future as well! =] So, be looking for me out there!

GOLDEN ISLE

Hey guys! Hows it goin? Lately I have been in a vigorous poetry writing mood and I finally wrote one that I entered into a poetry contest! All I hope now, is that they like my poem and decide to give me a chance rather than to throw it out to the dogs and think it's crap. But anyhow, I have here, the poem I entered...tell me what ya think, if you want! =] Oh, and I get to see the watchmen today! I am so frickin excited! hahaha

"Golden Isle"

You're my soul mate, as yours, I am.

It cannot be that you are meant for someone else

Or I shall surely be damned.

We created our heaven, the sanctuary of our love

And danced naked with our arms flailing like winged doves.

We stood in rain, drenched in lovers dreams,

My head spinning, you were all I could see.

What questions are there left if you are not with me?

How can a lonesome heart sing an ode to a nightingale,

If it has a broken wing?

I want you for always, you have to believe

That living is next to nothing, if it is you I cannot see.

My eyes, ever alive on your bright, painted smile

I'm on my knees begging to rest my head

In the palms of Golden Isle.

Golden Isle of angels, where heaven meets the earth

With pressed palms together, I'll beg for our rebirth

With a wild beating heart and rosy cheeks of blush,

With a fiery tongue so passionate you'll brightly flush,

I'll sing to you the reasons why.

I have to have you, this love is impossible to deny.

Golden Isle of angles, I make my final wish

That you will seal my fate with a long, awaited kiss.

MUTE SNOW

Hello my lovelies! I am so freakin happy right now cos I finally learned to write in free verse! I am so happy! I stayed up til like 2am last night writing free verse poems, watching the snow come down by the window and yes...it snowed here! I will have pics up later! But, it was the first huge snow North Carolina has had in many years! I am like a child, I'll take it! Mhmm...

Mute Snow

Mutely watching the snow

The life of the past isn't too far away

With the dreams and walks down by the creek

In back with wooded paths

Filled with thin, viny branches

To cut your arms and nip at your bare toes.

Here is where the wind whispers as it blows

In the winter time where your voice is muffled,

Listening for the crackle of branches

Cracking with heavy ice upon its arms

Reaching out to pull your hair

And make you to turn in wonder 'who's there?'

The ghost of the wood in winters snow

Makes its jokes at your expense

And giggles its laughter up into the trees

creating the moment that you're all alone

Hey Guys and girls! Hope you all are fine. Umm, I just wanted to say that I have a new poem here, just finished it today. It is based on a true event and is sort of sensitive right now. Umm, home life is unbearable right now for me...so yeah...

"Mime"

Love cannot be in your heart

To grasp my arms and rip me apart

How dare you shout in my ear

Curses that no one should hear.

I've been through this too many times

I wish that I were a mime,

A mime with a flame and pain in my mute voice

That when I imitate life

I'll deafen you with silent noise.

Feel my words, feel my pain

Watch me fall to my knees, going insane

Listening to your brainwashing all day long

I'd rather drown myself to my favorite song,

Than hear the haunting words

You feel you have to say.

I'm going to hell, I'll be seeing you one day

Goodbye, good riddance to you

I'm leaving this life of pain

To look up into the sky

And drown myself in unending rain.

What are your thoughts?

Hello to all of you! Hope you all are fine! =] Lately, I have been pondering life questions, asking myself many things, which in some way I cannot answer, but nevertheless, it gets me thinking. I am currently working on a new novel entitled 'If Winter Ends,' which is a story about a young man who is searching for answers to his life and in return, finds them to be absolutely heart breaking.

In this story, I question the one thing where most people sugarcoat and it's the self question, if, and I say if, your life was a story, would you be the hero or the antagonist? Try to be honest with your self and answer it. Who would you be? It's as simple as that. You don't have to tell me, but you can if you wish.

So, tell me your thoughts if you're comfortable enough! I'll gladly see what you have to say!
